The BRAX DSP is the result of one of the longest and most intensive development phases in Audiotec Fischer’s history. From its conception in 2011 to its release in 2018, this groundbreaking digital signal processor was designed to push the limits of sound quality, precision, and functionality.

With three advanced Sigma350 series 64-Bit DSPs delivering 3.6 billion MAC operations per second, the BRAX DSP operates at a native 192 kHz sampling rate, extending the frequency range up to 80 kHz. Signal conversion is handled by Asahi Kasei’s premium A/D and D/A converters, ensuring unparalleled accuracy and clarity.

The power supply design is equally meticulous, featuring 55 independent voltage regulators that stabilize every stage for pure, distortion-free sound. A dedicated 32-Bit Advanced CoProcessor (ACO) ensures lightning-fast communication with Audiotec Fischer’s PC-Tool software and the optional DIRECTOR remote control.
