The BRAX DSP Silver represents the pinnacle of Audiotec Fischer’s engineering expertise. From its first concept in 2011 to its launch in 2018, it underwent the most extensive development process in the company’s history. The result is a masterpiece of digital signal processing, redefining both sound quality and functionality in high-end car audio systems.
At its core, the BRAX DSP Silver integrates three powerful Sigma350 series 64-Bit DSPs, delivering an astonishing 3.6 billion MAC operations per second. This architecture allows full operation at a native 192 kHz sampling rate, extending the audio frequency response up to 80 kHz for ultra high-resolution sound reproduction. Signal conversion is handled by premium Asahi Kasei “Velvet Sound” A/D and D/A converters, ensuring unmatched clarity and precision.
To guarantee flawless performance, the power supply is stabilized by 55 independent voltage regulators, while the 32-Bit Advanced CoProcessor (ACO) manages all control and communication tasks with lightning-fast response.
